The NIRSA Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to share some exciting news from the 2006 Annual Conference in Louisville. The race to support NIRSA Members can never be won, only run—and Louisville was a good run.

Several successful events were part of the Foundation's Annual Conference agenda, including the "Be A Star" annual giving campaign resulting in a $15,000 match from USTA; the kick-off of the four-year $1 Million Milestone Campaign; the 12th Annual NIRSA Foundation Golf Tournament, followed by a silent auction of donated golf-related items; the VIP Donor Reception for Gold Level donors and above; the T-shirt & Apparel Competition Auction & Sale; and the Annual T-shirt Quilt Auction.

Of course, the Foundation is happiest when seeing the results of these fundraisers in action! Hundreds took advantage of the NIRSA Foundation's Career Opportunities Center, and a host of students and professionals were awarded scholarships.
