Announcing an Association-wide Responsibility Initiative

“Leading Together” effort encourages positive role modeling

As part of a collaboration among the Student Leadership Team, the NIRSA Board of Directors, and the Responsibility Initiative Work Team, a new “Leading Together” campaign aims to call attention to the issues of professionalism, responsible decision-making, and positive role-modeling.

The most visible element of the campaign will be introduced at the 2008 Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition in Austin, Texas, April 2-5. All attendees will be invited to sign a special pledge banner, which reads:

Everyone signing the banner will receive an embroidered blue ribbon to affix to their Conference name badge.
