Register for the 2008 National Intramural Symposium
Early-bird registration for inaugural event ends May 12
Online registrations are being accepted for the first-ever National Intramural Symposium, taking place June 11-13 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The National Intramural Symposium is designed to provide a wide range of development opportunities for intramural coordinators and programmers. Through a variety of educational sessions and roundtables in smaller, concentrated settings, the symposium will explore such topics as sport-specific officials training (including the new NIRSA online flag football training course), hosting extramural sports tournaments, what it takes to serve on regional/national extramural sports tournament committees, the makeup and benefits of intramural sports councils, women's issues in intramural sports, providing quality customer service, the latest web technology, and much more!
Long-time NCAA basketball referee Barry Mano will keynote the event. Mano is the founder and president of the National Association of Sports Officials and publisher/executive editor of Referee Magazine.
