NIRSA joins other associations to offer sustainability webinar

"Education for a Sustainable Future" event takes place November 27

NIRSA, along with other higher education associations, including the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), and the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP), are joining together with the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium (HEASC) to offer a webinar on sustainability.

NIRSA Members are invited to join Dr. Debra Rowe (President of the U.S. Partnership for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development and Co-Chair of HEASC) and others for this 90-minute webinar highlighting the latest trends in sustainability on campus. Several HEASC member association experts will share their best examples of implementing sustainable projects and practices. The webinar will include an overview of Education for Sustainable Development, national trends, resources available, and outstanding examples of what participating associations are doing with regard to sustainability.

The webinar takes place at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, November 27, and the cost per site is $32. Register at Education for a Sustainable Future or contact Karen Bach at the NNC with any questions.
