NSC partners with HyperLife Marketing to build sports marketing business

Look for new sponsorship and program info coming soon

The NIRSA Services Corporation (NSC) has entered into an agreement with HyperLife Marketing Group to develop a fully capable sports marketing business, including sponsorship opportunities for NIRSA Member Institutions and the National Campus Championship Series (NCCS). HyperLife Marketing brings a proven track record of building highly successful sports marketing businesses, and has a deep understanding of the collegiate consumer and campus recreational sports culture. NSC believes that HyperLife represents the very best opportunity to develop an effective and sustainable business that will meet the needs of our members and the students they serve.

NSC is very excited to support HyperLife’s new approach to our sports marketing efforts. Hallmarks of this approach include:

  • Communicating extensively with NIRSA Member Institutions, who are encouraged to help develop the types of programs they would like to implement
  • Fair compensation to all schools involved based on efforts and recreation populations
  • Clear, well planned fulfillment operations with strict adherence to delivery and distribution deadlines
  • Working with members to establish fair and easy-to-implement compliance verification systems
  • Emphasis on customer service and follow-up

HyperLife Marketing President Bernie Freeman said, “I believe in this partnership because the NCCS and NIRSA Member Institutions offer sponsors an incredibly attractive opportunity to connect with active college consumers in a genuine way. This agreement gives NIRSA Members a real shot at creating world-class programs that students and staff are eager to participate in.”

By participating in NIRSA-endorsed sponsorship programs, NIRSA Member Institutions can be assured that sponsor dollars will benefit not only them, but also the important work of NIRSA. For example, the NCCS is the only campus non-varsity sports series that supports NIRSA’s dedication to fostering student development, commitment to the larger learning community, and emphasis on leadership and excellence in events of this type. Recent NCCS championships in flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis and golf have been extremely successful in terms of participation and excitement, and select sponsorships will only enhance their quality.

NSC and HyperLife want you to stay tuned to hear about some very exciting program possibilities in the fall of 2007, and spring and fall of 2008. Examples may include, but are not limited to, sponsorships of NCCS events, programs that help promote fitness on campus, or product sampling in campus recreational facilities.

Below is some more information about HyperLife. Please join the NIRSA Services Corporation in supporting their tremendous efforts on our behalf!
