NEPC2007

All NIRSA Professional and Student Members will soon be receiving the NEPC 2007-2008 Publication Catalog in the mail. Keep this catalog as a reference for materials to purchase throughout the year. The same products are also listed on the NEPC website.

It’s time to place your orders for the 2007-2008 Sports Officials’ Education materials. The Flag Football Clinician Kit will be available in early July. Soccer and Volleyball Clinician Kits will be available in mid-August.

Institutional Members, don’t forget you are eligible for a 15% discount on most products purchased through the NEPC. Just input your Institutional Member code when ordering. This code can be found on the front page of the Members Only section of the NIRSA website.

Recreational Sports Journal: The scoop on back issues and submitting articles

Back issues of the Recreational Sports Journal (2000-current) are posted for online search capability on the NEPC website. All Professional and Student Members can access the online RSJ with a key code. Please contact NIRSA if you need a key code (issued annually).

Speaking of back issues, Human Kinetics has all of the hard-copy back issues of the Recreational Sports Journal (previously the NIRSA Journal) dating back to the first issue in 1977. HK is currently working to place all of the back issues online, so that by early 2008, NIRSA Members will be able to search for articles dating back to Volume 1, No. 1 from March 1977!

Not finding a topic that interests you in the RSJ? Maybe you should consider submitting an article for publication! Guidelines for authors and suggested topic areas are printed in the back of each journal and in the Publications section of the NIRSA website. The Journal Editorial Board is always seeking articles for submission.
