SAHEC meets at NNC

Student Affairs in Higher Education Consortium convenes in Corvallis, Oregon May 1-3

NIRSA is a member of the Student Affairs in Higher Education Consortium (SAHEC), which meets at the NIRSA National Center in Corvallis, Oregon May 1-3. SAHEC promotes the understanding of learning and development as intertwined, inseparable elements of the college student experience.

Leaders from the National Association of Student Personnel Association (NASPA), the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), Association of College Unions International (ACUI), and the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) will join NIRSA Executive Director Dr. Kent J. Blumenthal for the meetings. The group will discuss matters of shared concern, including alcohol education, health and wellness, and financial planning for college students, as well as potential collaborative projects. SAHEC is a subgroup of the Council of Higher Education Management Associations (CHEMA), of which NIRSA is also a member.
