Tips for employers and job-seekers

NIRSA is a member of the Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium (HEASC), and in taking steps to implement sustainability principles, the Career Opportunities Center is going green! Instead of receiving printed job listings, candidates are encouraged to plan ahead by researching BluefishJobs.com prior to the Annual Conference. As always, candidates will be able to search for and print specific listings at the computer kiosks located in the COC.

As a reminder, BluefishJobs.com has a 60-day listing period. For optimum visibility leading up to and during the Annual Conference, job listings must be posted on BluefishJobs.com after February 22, 2007. Earlier postings will expire before the Conference begins and employers will need to repost the job on BluefishJobs.com in order to take advantage of the employer services at the COC.

Presentation rooms for COC Employers are now available in half-hour as well as one-hour time blocks, and employers can register for them online when they register for the Conference. After they are paid for, a specific date and time can be scheduled through the membership department.
