Bonnie Dean

Bonnie Dean
W.O.W. Presentations

Bonnie Dean is an international professional speaker who believes that life is a contact sport and the game is people! She has been tagged "The Motion Coach" for getting people up and moving with her fun, fast-paced, interactive presentations. Prior to beginning her professional speaking career, Bonnie was a Recreation Major at California State University, San Diego. For ten years she worked on campus and on the island of Kauai, coordinating college extension classes in Recreation and Geology—taking people backpacking into the areas that they now transport people to by Zodiac and helicopters—and directed Youth Summer Sports Camps. While living in San Diego, Bonnie was one of Jacki Sorenson's first aerobics instructors in the nation, ran marathons, and trained staff.

Bonnie’s first session, entitled "GenderBabble© or Why Do I Always Sound Like a Woman?" is filled with tips on communicating task and relationship expectations more effectively, as well as how to stop undermining yourself at home and at work. If you ever feel like men and women are from different end zones, this session will help you turn the war of the sexes into a beautifully orchestrated dance by learning to channel gender differences into positive outcomes. This fun, gender-neutral program enhances outcomes in customer service, team relationships, sales and synchronicity in the workplace, and all areas of life/work balance.

Join Bonnie at her second offering, "Laughter is a Serious Business," for a fun, fast-paced laughter workout. Learn how a healthy sense of humor can improve your career, relationships, sense of self-worth and general all-around health. This session will touch on several aspects of laughter, the power it holds, and ways to incorporate laughter into your daily life at home and in the workplace.

Gay Gasper

Gay Gasper
Fitness Specialist

Gay Gasper has a lifetime history of instruction in various forms of dance and movement. After attending the Modern Academy of Fine Arts in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and graduating from Dean College with a degree in Fine Arts, Gay decided she wanted to become a professional dancer. She joined the ranks in Manhattan, where she worked as an aerobics instructor to pay for her continuous dance classes, food and rent. While living as a “struggling artist” she discovered her passion for aerobics and group exercise. Her workout philosophy is simple: consistency and proper training is the key to having a healthy, strong body. Gay has a line of successful exercise and fitness videos, has appeared in Shape Magazine, and enjoys the success of others she has been able to guide through teaching classes. She is certified by ACE, AFAA, Promise Enterprise Kick Boxing and AEA Aqua Certification.

Join Gay on Saturday for a three-hour workshop focusing on the organization of basic group exercise class formats. Cardio and strength training will be featured. Learn choreography from warm-up to cool-down to construct a hi-low cardio class as well as group strength training exercises. Discuss fitness industry trends that will motivate you toward a lifetime of success as a group fitness leader.
