Over 100 rec sports marketers learned how to get “sticky” in San Antonio
A record 104 attendees participated in the 2006 NIRSA National Marketing Institute held November 29-December 1 in San Antonio, Texas. Participants took advantage of twelve different educational sessions, five invited speakers, and exceptional Texas hospitality to make this the most successful NMI yet. Highlights of the “Be More Sticky”-themed conference were presentations on a variety of hot topics facing rec sports marketers, including sponsorships, podcasting, assessment, branding and memberships. Also very popular were the samples of marketing materials and promotional items that attendees brought from their institutions to share.
