Flag Football DVD coming soon

Editing completed on new officials’ training resource

Filming for a new Flag Football DVD took place on the campus of the University of Central Florida in late March. NIRSA publishing partner Human Kinetics performed the editing recently at their headquarters in Champaign, Illinois. Steve Rey, Western Kentucky University and Bruce Maurer, The Ohio State University were on-site to review film with the HK production crew. Both Steve and Bruce were very impressed with how much was accomplished during the audio, graphics, and footage editing process, and all are pleased with the final product.

The DVD, titled NIRSA Flag Football Officials’ Training DVD: Rules, Penalty Enforcement, and Mechanics, is expected to be released in mid-to-late August. Watch for it on the NIRSA Education & Publication Center!
