Two new endowments support the future of recreational sports

Chivetta, Presidents' Endowments provide opportunities to Members

It is with great excitement that we present two new NIRSA Foundation endowments.

The Anthony (Tony) J. Chivetta Endowment, sponsored by Christopher Chivetta, P.E., in honor of the work and passions of his father, Tony Chivetta, will provide for an annual scholarship to be awarded to a current Professional Member who meets the criteria of service, involvement and leadership within the Association and demonstrates a financial need, as determined by the NIRSA Foundation Scholarship Committee.

The scholarship is available to fund the registration of one Professional Member for either the NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Exposition or the NIRSA National Recreation Facilities Institute. Professional Members may apply online.

The Presidents' Endowment is being spearheaded and sponsored by our own ardent and dedicated Presidents — past, current and future.

The endowment will recognize and enable creativity and innovation in the field of recreational sports.

Pledges and contributions are being accepted in order to reach the minimum funding of $10,000 over the next three years. For more information, please contact Greg Jordan.
