Last chance to make your mark: Registry survey ends soon

The last day to take the NIRSA National Registry survey is Friday, September 9. An email message explaining the proposed registry, the result of efforts by the Registry Work Team since 2002, was sent to Professional and Student Members on July 15. The proposal outlines a process for identifying, encouraging, guiding, and recognizing purposeful professional development through a National Registry for Recreational Sports Professionals.

Your input on the survey, which examines your response to the proposal, is critical to our Association, and will help move the professional registry in the best direction for Members. Please look for the survey in your email, or contact me for further information. The complete proposal can be found on the Web site [PDF]. At launch of this newsletter, a total of 236 Student and Professional Members have sent their responses.
